JKC provides general and specialized courses to automobile insurance adjusters registered with the General Insurance Association of Japan (GIAJ). The general courses are designed according to the adjuster’s ranking system. Subjects not included in the general course are covered by specialized training courses.
In order to meet the particular needs of the parties engaged in auto insurance claims, JKC provides special training courses for claims representatives and lawyers. JKC also provides tailor-made training courses at the request of insurance companies, mutual aid associations and other organizations.
At the request of General Insurance Association of Japan, JKC provides e-learning courses for claims representatives.
JKC provides training courses that use damaged vehicles to allow the actual repair work processes to be observed, as well as classroom lectures. In some courses, attendees are expected to learn about the causal relationship between an accident and damage by observing a vehicle collision test.
JKC provides general training courses for automobile insurance adjusters so that they can acquire different level of skills and knowledge on various subjects depending upon their membership grades, such as repair estimates, damage diagnostic and repair techniques for various types of damage they are likely to encounter in domestic vehicles. Adjusters can also learn how to make proper assessments on the causal relationship between an accident and damage. These training courses are prepared in accordance with the adjuster’s membership grade, which are as follows.
